High-Density Data Center Cooling System Design and Installation for Egenera

Electronic Environments was contacted by Egenera to design and install high-density data center cooling system for their new facility. EEC's highly trained design team worked closely with Egenera to determine the correct data center cooling equipment and system architecture to meet their data center's needs, while also addressing their budget and schedule requirements. The final design incorporated a Liebert XD system with 160kW refrigerant pumping unit, eight 20kW in-row cooling units and roof mounted heat rejection. EEC’s mechanical installation crew successfully installed, started and tested the system within Egenera’s schedule and continues to provide support, service and preventative maintenance for the critical data center cooling systems.
