Tate is a leading manufacturer of raised access floors and in-floor cooling solutions for data centers. Tate offers innovative solutions to effectively manage the diverse, variable, and high density heat loads commonly found in data centers today. In-floor cooling solutions such as the DirectAire® grate an angular through pattern to create a 93% Total Air Capture (TAC) rate. This means that 93% of the air delivered through the 68% open area of the panel hits the face of the rack.
Tate’s SmartAire™ helps to create a more energy efficient data center by delivering the right amount of airflow needed to cool the equipment at any given moment. Using temperature probes mounted to the face of the rack a variable-air-volume damper is used to restrict or increase airflow based on a under defined inlet air temperature. This solution is ideal for servers with variable usage rates or extended idle period such as overnight when usage may be low.
PowerAire, a fan assisted airflow device is capable of handling heat loads as high as 24.8kW per rack at .10” H2O (static pressure). As the market leader Tate continues to supply top quality raised access floor systems that provide a flexible solution for meeting the service distribution challenges and ever-changing technologies found in most data centers.
We also offer a full range of products for data centers following best practice design techniques to eliminate by-pass air including hot and cold aisle containments systems, blanking panels and air sealing grommets.
