We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage our project/construction projects for small to mid-range design/build projects ($50K-$10M) within the Mid-Atlantic Region. Projects are primarily involved with the Information Technology or Telecommunication market clients. Most projects are heavily related to the electrical and HVAC infrastructure supporting client's environments. Projects will include sales, planning, engineering and subcontracting on-site management and project closeout.

Prepare scope of work and subcontracts.

Prepare customer proposals.

Be able to manage multiple projects in various stage of activities.

Prepare and monitor project budgets.

Participate in engineering process to control cost and client budget requirements of project.

Develop project schedule and monitor/update as project progresses.

Provides technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation superintendents and trades people.

Provides specific expertise for problem solving.

Provides technical evaluation of subcontractor and equipment proposals.

Monitors and inspects construction to ensure compliance with design documents.

Coordinate completion of construction activities.

Prepare punch list to ensure the readiness of systems for over to the client.

Excellent understanding of commercial HVAC and electrical systems.

Must have strong leadership and organizational skills.

Knowledge of construction policies and procedures, with field experience a real plus.

Electrical or Mechanical Licenses a plus.

Experience in computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Projects.

Understanding of the telecommunication, data processing operations very helpful.

Five to ten years project management experience.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
