Regional Service Manager, Mid-Atlantic

Job Description:   

We are currently seeking a Regional Services Manager to manage and continue developing our Mid-Atlantic Service business.  This position is located in Bensalem, PA, and the Region includes PA, NY, NJ, MD, DE, VA, WV.  

In this position you will be responsible for all aspects of our service delivery business relating to the IT and Telecommunications markets. The service business involves preventative and emergency service for the infrastructure equipment (UPS/Battery Systems, DC Power, Generators, and HVAC) supporting “mission critical” operations. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Provide direct leadership of regional development and operational strategy.
  • Investigate and pursue new business opportunities within defined Corporate guidelines.
  • Interact daily with customers and corporate senior management.
  • Preparation of regional forecasts and budgets.
  • P&L responsibility for the region including meeting business goals and objectives yearly.
  • Management of ongoing customer relationships in the region.
  • Present capabilities to customers, and proposal generation with assistance from sales and marketing group.
  • Identify business opportunities within the region.
  • Hire, train, and manage regional staff.
  • On call crisis management (7x24).
  • Available for escalation during emergencies.
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors.
  • Aggressively market upgrades, add-ons, and additional service work.

Associated Job Duties:

  • Manage safety/environmental concerns of the business.
  • Identify/develop business opportunities and marketing leads.
  • Establish regional policies to ensure work is performed within Corporate standards.
  • Monitor and track performance of operation.
  • Provide second level support for customer issues/problem resolution.
  • Monitor profitability of contracts.
  • Ensure customer information is incorporated into EEC software database.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years experience with National Service Provider.
  • Wireless service experience a plus.
  • Strong data center knowledge required.
  • BS in Engineering or Business Management (with strong technical skills).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Projects.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong understanding of Telecommunications and IT Infrastructure design.
