The Product Sales Representative (PSR) will lead sales efforts to establish and develop relationships with New England and Philadelphia based customers. Gain brand acceptance while building brand awareness. Full training of products will be provided. The PSR position is available to the individual who possesses strong leadership and communication skills and has the desire to source new business. Your focus would be selling a new line of products based around our current successful brand.
We need an experienced and aggressive Product Sales Representative with HVAC and or Data Center industry experience. The ideal candidate is a real go-getter with a creative mind, and a can do attitude.
- Identify and prioritize customer base and opportunities.
- Travel to customer’s site to perform presentation overview and site surveys.
- Create proposals and drive activity by focusing on customer requirements.
- Train customer on appropriate use of products and/or software.
- Act as technical liaison to other members of the sales team.
- Excellent analytical, written, communication and organizational skills.
- Timely, complete account management – ACT Reporting.
- Report competitive field information – pricing, product and personnel/distribution.
- Support corporate marketing initiatives; Product Specialist, Seminars; Road shows, etc.
- Backup for other Sales Representatives.
- Actively participate and pursue training/programs.
- The successful candidate will be an organized self-starter with excellent problem solving skills and will thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task work environment.
- A willingness to travel (70%)
- Be hands on, and to cooperate with other team members and customers is essential.
- Associates degree in a technical discipline and 2 years of experience in the field or a related area are the minimum requirements. Equivalent education/experience combinations will be considered.
- The following would be a major plus:
• Bachelors Degree in associated technical field.
• Experience of CFD Studies/Airflow management
• Data Center Design
